EPLWA Roundup: Bellevue Rolls, Olympia Impresses, WE SURF Secures Shutout, Vancouver Claims Home Win

WE SURF SC 2 – 0 Yakima United FC

WE SURF SC struck twice in the first half and held firm defensively to earn a 2–0 win over Yakima United FC on Saturday.

Caden Martin opened the scoring, finishing a setup from Timothy Jones to give WE SURF an early edge. Shortly after, Bryce Allred doubled the lead with help from Beckett Arthur, providing what would be the final margin.

With the early goals proving decisive, WE SURF SC managed the game with discipline and control the rest of the way, earning a clean sheet and three points in front of a home crowd.


Bellevue Athletic FC 2 7 – 1 Rat City FC

Bellevue Athletic FC 2 Powers Past Rat City FC in 7–1 Road Win

Bellevue Athletic FC 2 put on a dominant display Saturday night, cruising to a 7–1 victory over Rat City FC on the road.

Jack Haegele led the attack with two goals, opening the scoring and later adding another with help from Kiran Menezes. Zachary Jordan also netted a brace, both goals set up by Keegan Chapko, who added a goal of his own to cap an impressive night.

Edgar Lopez-Ramirez and Connor Rosenbaum each found the back of the net for Bellevue, with assists coming from Ethan Lu and Dillon Smith.

Rat City’s only goal came courtesy of  Avilia, briefly halting the visitors’ momentum.

With seven different players contributing to the scoresheet, Bellevue Athletic FC 2 showcased depth and attacking precision in one of their most convincing wins of the season.


FC Olympia 4 – 2 Bellingham United FC

FC Olympia took control early and never looked back in a 4–2 home win over Bellingham United FC. Muhammad Diallo opened the scoring for Olympia with help from Alex Vogt, who later added a goal of his own. Gavin Mcleroy made it 3–0 after finishing a setup from Joshua Coetzee. Bellingham responded with a pair of goals from Alexander Koenig, but Olympia stayed in front thanks to Emmet McDonough, who added a fourth for the home side off another assist from Coetzee. The result marked a strong all-around performance for Olympia, with contributions across the attack sealing the win.

Vancouver Victory 3 – 1 Skagit Athletic FC

Vancouver Victory earned a solid 3–1 win over Skagit Athletic FC on Saturday, controlling much of the match and capitalizing on key chances.

The visiting Skagit side found themselves on the back foot early as Vancouver applied steady pressure and built a multi-goal advantage. Skagit managed to pull one back to stay in the contest, but Vancouver responded with a third to put the game out of reach.

It was a composed and effective performance from Vancouver, who continue to show strength in the final third while maintaining a firm defensive shape. For Skagit, the loss highlights areas for regrouping as the league season continues.


EPLWA Playoffs Set to Kick Off Next Week

With the regular season wrapped up, the EPLWA Men’s Premier League turns its focus to the playoffs, set to begin next week. The top four teams in the standings have clinched their spots, and the matchups are now set.

As the No. 1 seed, WE SURF SC will host Skagit Athletic FC in the semifinals. WE SURF enters the playoffs on a high note following their 2–0 win over Yakima and will look to carry that momentum into the postseason.

The second semifinal will feature Yakima United FC against Bellingham United FC, a rematch of several close contests throughout the season. Both sides bring offensive firepower and playoff experience to what should be a tightly contested match.

The winners of each semifinal will meet in the EPLWA Championship Final, with the title on the line. Dates, times, and locations will be announced in the coming days.
